Dr. Pascalev participated in a debate on new controversies in organ transplantation at the 15th Congress of ESOT in Glasgow September 4-7 2011. She argued the position that organ allocation should be based on fairness. Her opponent Dr. Alexander Gimson of Cambridge University Hospitals argued that allocation should be based on transplant benefit.
